I worked for 25 years as a financial adviser in Bristol. In 2019 I moved to a rural part of North Spain. This move was precipitated by a number of things coming together at the same time.  Brexit meant that my wife and I had to move if we were to maintain residency rights, two of our three sons had been living in Spain for some years,  and it was time to leave the partnership for personal reasons.  We wanted to make the change whilst we were still young enough to make a new life.

Now I am free from regulated financial services and connections with my old partnership I can work on the parts of the job that I enjoy most, guiding people through life's big decisions. 

My peer group are becoming the senior generation. Our parents are now either very old or dead,  children have grown up, and many of us are looking either to retire or work in a more flexible way. 

I use my own direct experience and professional knowledge to provide guidance through the maze.
